IAP Extension Booms

Extension booms offer added range and versatility to any fume extraction arm installation where additional reach and maneuverability are required. Ideal for larger or more complicated work applications.

Details:

• Steel tube: powder coated Black
• Spiral ductwork tube on support beam with black fire retardant flexible hose joints
• Double pivot to aid in positioning (at wall bracket and on horizontal boom)
• Adjustable friction swivel joints
• All external adjustments
• Top outlet with straight inlet for duct connection.
• Standard temperature resistance up to 200°F
• Recommended airflow range: 600 CFM – 1250 CFM
• Available in 6″ and 8″ diameter tubes

The straight outlet can be removed and a 2 HP fan can sit on for the 6″ boom; or a 3 HP fan can sit on for the 8″ boom.

The boom inlet mates to IAP Fume arms. Select a mating extraction arm of the desired length to get total distance required.

The manufacturer recommends subtracting 3′ of total equipment lengths to compensate for installation height variances. For example, if 30′ is desired order 20′ boom with 14′ arm.
